The man who wanted to live with the Sea
A man decides to live with the Sea, to see if he can conquer it. He goes far, far away from the shores, out of sight from the land, so far that he is one with his goal.
At last, he will find out the truth about his relationship with the Sea.
When faced with the infinite existence of the Sea, he hesitates engaging the battle, the same battle that pursued him all through the years and beyond.
All these years, he has lived only for that purpose, for that moment when he could join his promised land, that place where he feels he belongs to.
Now is not the time to step back, so close from the goal. All he has left to do is jump over board and let the boat drift with the wind.
The journey was painful, long and tumultuous, trials each time harder but always he continued thinking that one day he will reach his goal.
Now, is the deciding moment. The last time he will be part of this world if he goes all the way with his intentions.
His life passes through his eyes and he likes what he sees. After all, hasn’t he always gone over and beyond, therefore living a Life full of positive energy and incredible Love. a Love for what, for who. He knows that he has loved the tumultuous path taken so far because of the growing knowledge gained with each step.
How good it has been to solve the moments when it was hard to harmonise with the surroundings. Day after day, year after year, his will has amplified.
After all, isn’t it the proof that he was right ? if this idea to go live with the Sea could take him so far it must be because it is his real Life, the one and only way he must live.
With this thought, his heart swells with the happiness from knowing he has arrived at the end of the path, at the end of its trials, he is going to at last be at peace
And so, he confidently jumps into the Sea, confident in the knowledge accumulated during these years.
He is now Alone, filled with satisfaction.
His body is barely adapted to the water when the waves crash over him.
He knows how to swim but never has he been in contact with such powerful waves.
As if the Sea pushes him back towards the boat.
The boat who is already out of reach, pushed away by the wind and the waves. The man is alone with the Sea just as he has wished all his Life. And then, he understands that in order to stay alive he will have to fight.
What a foolish idea to think he could live among the Sea.
From that moment one, he swims and swims, day and night.
Mentally, his confidence in Life diminishes as he wonders why the Sea is rejecting him.
At that same time he can see Land far into the horizon and he understands.
Yes, his Life is really where he belongs.
He must use his knowledge to share with others the infinity of the possibilities.
